Staff from UdeC, UNIVA, and TATO Foundation will learn about neurodiversity

A large group of teachers and administrative staff from higher education schools of Universidad de Colima, Universidad del Valle de Atemajac (UNIVA), and staff from TATO Foundation will be participating in the on-site course-workshop on neurodiverse people, which began this Thursday at the central campus.
 
The aim of this training is to enable professors and other professionals involved in institutional education to identify cognitive, social, and emotional skills in neurodiverse people, to support them with academic strategies in the university environment.
 
This course-workshop is part of the activity "University in Mind", of the international project ENTENDER (ENabling sTudEnts with NeuroDivERsity), an ERASMUS+ project co-funded by the European Union.
 
Ms. Genoveva Amador Fierros, Director General of International Affairs and Academic Cooperation, Mr. Carlos Eduardo Monroy Galindo, Technical Secretary of the University, and Ms. Susana Aurelia Preciado Jiménez, Director General of Higher Education, were present to inaugurate the three-day program of activities and conferences (August 25-27).
